Other Ceremonies

Celebrating Your Key Moments

There are many other parts of our lives worth marking with ritual!

I will gladly meet with you to plan ceremonies, whether fun or solemn or somewhere in between, such as:

– naming or blessing babies and children

– coming out

– transitioning (whatever this means for you)

– divorce or breakup

– escaping an abusive situation

– menopause or croning

– funerary or memorial

– empty nesting

– ordination, conversion, deconstruction, or another step on your spiritual path

– menarche. This would require the involvement of a legal parent or guardian.

Need a different ceremony?

If there is a part of your life that you would like to celebrate with a ceremony and isn’t listed here, please feel free to contact me and we can discuss it. As with weddings, I would require two meetings before the ceremony: one to see if I’m a good fit for you, and another to discuss your priorities and ideals for the event. After the second meeting I would give you a Letter of Agreement that would outline the details of time, place, fee, etc. Any additions made after the creation of the Letter of Agreement would be put into a Revised Letter of Agreement. Check, cash, Paypal, and Venmo are acceptable and I would issue you a receipt. If for some reason the ceremony does not take place after payment and is not rescheduled for a future date, I would refund you 50% back.

To clarify, I would discuss and plan the ceremonial aspects with you and I would gather any ritual items you desire such as candles, ropes, blades, etc. The number of people present, the location, food, parking, etc. would be up to you or whomever is planning the logistical aspects. The cost of this ceremony would be $100-300 depending on the length and detail of the ceremony, the number of people involved, the number of ritual items involved, and the location if this takes place outside of my tri-county area (the cost of travel and lodging would be added to the $300 if I must travel more than 100 miles for the ceremony).

I reserve the right to refuse my services to anyone, and will offer help to anyone I perceive to be in an abusive situation.

I am fully vaccinated and will wear a mask indoors. If you prefer that I wear a mask outdoors as well, I will do so.

If we meet in person I request that we do so in a public place at least the first time, and if you bring any children under the age of 18 please let me know beforehand. I am certified through the office of Ethics and Integrity in Ministry through the Diocese of Austin, TX to report abuse to the local authorities.
